Ok... to be completely honest, I've been avoiding my blog. I was hoping that I would have better news to report. Alas, no such luck.
Ben called me on Sunday night just as I was heading out the door to go to the airport. And it wasn't to tell me that his plane came in early. Apparently, he had been bumped from his connecting flight, so he was stuck in Amsterdam.
Good news: He is out of Africa.
Bad news: I didn't get to spend my day off with him when I had one.
More bad news: He's still not here.
I mean, how long does it take to catch another flight to the States? To give him the benefit of the doubt, he said that the next direct flight would arrive here Tuesday night - and I'm in class until 10pm on Tuesdays. However, if he made it in to Salt Lake last night, wouldn't he have called by now? That was 24 hours ago...
I've noticed that any time I blog about a pending visit, it doesn't happen. So am I jinxing it? Or are there no honest men left?

Have you thought that maybe guys that hide behind a dating blog have other issues that make them less than desirable in person?
"Mister Right" will come along when you least expect it. He might be someone you already know and had never given a thought to. Remember friends first....

There are honest men left, our brothers are proof of it. You just seem to have found all the bad one. But from what you have told me about the site it doesn’t really surprise me. They do seem to be going to extraordinary length to keep the game going. I agree with Maryann, Mr. Wright will come along in his own due time. ;0) It dose suck that your last two potentials were scum bags. Who knows maybe you’ll find your Prince on your trip out to Ca. July is a beautiful time for love. LOL

Come talk to me about my bad online dating experience. Awful. I'd let this one go. It sounds like he's just giving you the runaround; however, all men are not jerks. I've met a wonderful one who doesn't mess around. My stake did this thing called "every member a matchmaker" instead of "every member a missionary" and it totally worked. Everyone I know who has been married in the last year or so met their spouse by being set up. I am going to add you to my list of people to set up because I think you're awesome and you deserve someone equally as awesome. In fact, what about Downtown JB? I'm gonna use my contacts to see if I can make that one work.
Jen - I'd love to go out with Downtown, but I heard he doesn't "fish off the company pier." Jen Case and Katarri talked about setting that up about 6 months ago, but nothing ever happened. JB is way cool. I think he'd be great fun! Let me know...
